Account Deletion
You can delete your Hayaa account from inside the app, or from this page if you have lost access to your device.
If you still have the app
Open Hayaa and go to Settings → Privacy and data → Delete account. The in-app flow is the fastest path and deletes your account straight away.
If you have lost access
Email us from the address you used to register your account. We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days.
How to request deletion
Send a short email to support@hayaa.io from the address you registered with. We will reply with confirmation and delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Please include in your email:
- The email used to register your account
- A clear request to delete the account (e.g. "Please delete my Hayaa account")
- Optional: a reason, if you'd like to share one

Email button not working?
Some browsers and devices don't have a mail client configured. In that case, open your email manually and send a message to support@hayaa.io with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we delete it together with everything linked to it, including your profile, check-ins, urges, SOS use, streak history, journal entries, AI conversation history, community posts and replies, partner relationships and messages, Blocker alert records, and push tokens. We also ask RevenueCat to delete your customer record. Copies in our encrypted database backups are overwritten within 7 days. Deleting your account also deletes the whole chat with your accountability partner, including the messages your partner sent, for both of you.
What we may retain
A few records stay after deletion, without your name or account. These are reports other users filed about you (the category and the short description they wrote), records of moderator decisions on community posts, anonymised referral records kept for accounting, and records of subscription events from RevenueCat, which are linked only to an account ID that no longer exists and are deleted after 90 days. We may also keep limited information when the law requires it, such as tax records for subscription transactions, or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud and abuse. Aggregated and de-identified information that cannot reasonably be associated with you may be kept indefinitely.
